Affiliated Postdocs

Postdocs are affiliated members of the HPSL Basel-Freiburg and thus part of its scientific network. They are actively involved in the scientific activities of the program, for example by organizing workshops or talks, and/or in advising PhD students. In order to apply, postdocs should provide a description of their research project, their proposed activities in the program, and a letter of recommendation of one of the scientific members of the HPSL (see Faculty).

Postdocs are eligible for transition phase scholarships (Freiburg only). Postdocs are eligible for travel and research grants within the first year after completing their PhD. They are only eligible if the they have completed their dissertation as a member of the HPSL at Freiburg University, are not holding a current position, and have their own research project affiliated at the HPSL.
