We are very happy to inform you about the start of our reading group for the HS2021. In a total of 5 sessions we aim at covering the following topics:
I)linguistics in the post-colonial era;
II)language attitudes and ideologies;
III)contact-induced language change; and
IV)ethics in linguistics (research methods and academia).
The reading group will take place five times during the semester onThursdays from 16:15-17:45. We are starting on Thursday September, 30th and we will be happy to welcome you. The sessions will take place via Zoom and you can email both Sara Carreira (email@example.com) or Marta Rodríguez (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get the link and the access to the folder with the designed readings. Attendance at all sessions is not compulsory, participants are welcome to attend single sessions.
