HPSL PhD Scholarship holder Mizuki Koda successfully defends her doctoral thesis

On the 12th of November 2025, HPSL doctoral candidate and scholarship holder Mizuki Koda successfully defended her doctoral thesis entitled ‘Accomplishing Commensality in Social Interaction: The Multimodal Organisation of Collective Focus at the Dinner Table’ (Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Dr. hc. mult. Lorenza Mondada, Basel; second supervisor: Prof. Dr. Aug Nishizaka, Chiba University, Japan).
